Established in 2012, The Fox And King (TFAK) began as a grassroots movement focused on bringing together local musicians and music groups under one banner. With this coalition of local talent, the company developed into a live music booking agency focused on expanding the platform for the exceptional artists who are too often overlooked and under appreciated. In this mindset, the company has grown immensely due to a team who themselves are just as passionate about music as the artists they work with.

Today, we've become a recognized music and entertainment company that specialize in management, development, and booking for new and emerging artists and bands. By extending our reach across New York City and into well-known music venues we've also solidified our presence in renowned music festivals such as The Vans Warped Tour, CMJ Music Festival and South By Southwest (SXSW). 

The Fox And King is the result of what happens when a love of music becomes a longtime passion. With an ever growing team of hardworking and talented individuals, as well as partnerships with multiple like minded start-ups and corporate brands, we want to change the image of the music industry.





Fernando Garcia

Founder & Owner

As a Bronx native, Fernando has been a fan of local music and music scenes his whole life. By attending neighborhood concerts, he developed a keen appreciation for how strongly artists fight to get their sound heard as well as how effectively music can inspire a community. During his sophomore year at Pace University, Fernando organized his first show at a small Bronx-based cafe and developed a thriving new music scene from the ground up. Since then he has continued to organize live music events across New York City as well as manage stages for a variety of major music festivals such as The CMJ Music Marathon and South By Southwest. After graduating from Pace in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Media Studies and a Minor in Entertainment Management, Fernando then went on to attend the Institute of Audio Research to gain in-depth knowledge of the industry. After graduating from IAR in 2015, Fernando has devoted his time to developing the company and their roster of artists by expanding its reach into new territories and establishing strategic partnerships with both startups and corporate brands.

Christopher Vasquez

Music enthusiast, blogger, foodie, scotch connoisseur and die-hard Yankees fan: just some of the many features that the marketing and communications head of The Fox and King, Christopher Vasquez, has under his repertoire. His experience in public relations, content marketing, and social media strategies has helped The Fox and King develop a range of services that have included audience engagement, branding, social media engagement, and media relations. Growing up in northwest Yonkers, Chris was exposed to an array of music genres and artists from some of the greatest music eras of our time. Born in a traditional Puerto Rican household, the sounds of salsa, mambo, boogaloo, and Latin Jazz were distinctly present – from summer barbecues to holiday parties with family. His parents also exposed him to Rock, Folk, Smooth Jazz, R&B/Funk, and Disco artists, all of which developed his ear for contemporary music. His passion for business, entrepreneurialism, and the arts has made him a rising star within the music industry, with hopes of bringing success to new and emerging artists.
